After thoughtful reflection, careful consideration, and meaningful conversations with community leaders, family, and constituents, I am proud to formally announce my candidacy for Louisiana State Representative, District 97 in the 2026 election.
I’m running to bring steady, pragmatic leadership, accountable governance, and a renewed focus on the priorities that matter most to the people of district 97, the City of New Orleans, and the state of Louisiana. Our communities deserve a representative in Baton Rouge who listens, works tirelessly, and delivers measurable results.

My Core Policy Objectives
My campaign is focused on five key areas that are essential to building a stronger, safer, and more prosperous future for our district and our state.

Fiscal Responsibility: Accountability for Taxpayer Dollars
As a financial expert and auditor, I will bring rigorous oversight to Baton Rouge.
Uphold transparent and accountable budgeting practices to ensure every taxpayer dollar is used efficiently and effectively.
Fight for New Orleans' Fair Share: As State Representative, I will work hard to address New Orleans’ ongoing funding and budget issues head-on. As we all know, New Orleans is home to major state-owned infrastructure, such as City Park and the Superdome, that generate substantial revenue for the entire state. I will vigorously advocate to bring essential state funding back to New Orleans.

Leverage my experience as a Property Management Consultant to promote housing stability and smart neighborhood development.

We must protect Louisiana’s unique natural environment for future generations while supporting economic growth.
Support protecting Louisiana’s natural resources and coastline through balanced, science-based policies that sustain both our economy and environment.

Every student in Louisiana deserves access to a quality education, regardless of their zip code.
Expand access to quality education at every level, from early childhood education to vocational training, college and beyond.
Support teachers with the resources and compensation they deserve.
Ensure our students have the tools to succeed in a rapidly changing economy
